PLEASE don't listen to the negativity of one of the other posters! If you are concerned see your doctor. Morning sickness can subside at any time, usually before the third month.. It is not usually a sign that ANYTHING is wrong. Try not to get too stressed, just call your Doctors office and tell them your concerns. If they think anything could be wrong they will schedule you an appt.

I also have intense morning sickness that lasts all day and my doctor told me to eat what I could - anything is better than nothing. If all you can eat is carbs, then eat carbs. Just make sure that you are staying hydrated. I found that mint tea with a little lemon helps - most supermarkets carry fresh mint leaves in the produce section, so I brew big batches of it and drink it iced throughout the day. Preggie Pops do help a little, but really just take the edge off. The Tums will not help with nausea, but if you're having severe morning sickness, it wouldn't hurt to get in some extra calcium. I eat two every day just to supplement my calcium intake.

You might just be getting lucky with no more nasuea...or it might just let up for a few days. During the beginning of my pregnancy, i had nasuea 24/7 for a couple weeks straight, then all the sudden it went away for about 4 weeks then came back, worse then ever. No telling why, just kinda happened that way. I know people saying not to worry is easier said then done, but try not to. If you arent having any spotting, cramping ect...im sure the baby is fine :-) Good luck and congrats!

A suddon loss of symptoms in the first trimester is a sign of miscarriage. ( It's normal for some women not to have morning sickness at all, but if you start to get it you should keep having it the first trimester) The hormones go up and then peak at 8 or 9 weeks and then begin to taper off and drop by the 13th week. A suddon loss of symptoms before that usually means the hormone levels have dropped which means the baby died. A friend of mine just had this same thing happen to her, and then she bled and cramped 2 weeks later at 10 weeks. Call your doctor ASAP. I hope I'm wrong. Good luck.

I nasea from 6-8 weeks too and now I'm almost 16 weeks you should be fine. As long as you didn't experience any bleeding around that time you are probbly fine. Check with your doc to clear your mind.

Totally normal! It usually stops between 6-9 weeks. And if it does count your blessings...its a good thing! Some poor women have it the whole time.
