Their getting there. Within two years they should be a power house with the young core they have now.

The young talent in Pittsburgh is the envy of the league. In a couple seasons they are going to be unstoppable, but they might have to wait until Marty Brodeur retires before they win the Atlantic division.

Yes they are the most exciting team in the league and it would be a shame if they left, they are going to win a cup in the next 3 years!

Umm....no
I looked at the standings this morning and if the playoffs started tommorow they would NOT make them.
That is NOT my definition of an "awesome " team.
They definitely have the best young talent in the league, but their goals against will have to improve before they can be a legitimate stanley cup contender.

they have the best player (CROSBY)
they have 2 or the three best young players (CROSBY, MALKIN)
they have the best penalty killer (STAAL 5 shorthanded goals)
they have the best young goalie (FLUERY)
