The proper "warm" inviting way is you put the "pull down" part on the front. This means you are a warm comforting and inviting home. If you put it in the back, you are reflecting a cold hearted home.
Now, that is what I have been told. Who comes up with the crap, I have no idea!! Hotels always put it in the front. I think they must really "love" your money because they (hotels) even fold the paper into the the "arrow"!!
Get it rules for the crapper are full of crap!! LOL!!

The front. When I am in a vulnerable position, I want it right there. I don't want to be leaning under the d**m toilet paper roll, trying to find where it starts, and then try to rip it of just right or the whole roll goes
