i know a girl who is straight but married to a gay man ? why? what is the reasoning behind this ?

If she knew he was gay when they first got married then she probably did it because she was looking for a lifelong companion and friend instead of a f*ck buddy

Because of Homophobes. As a Lesbian I'll tell you that it's scary to come out of the closet because of people who think you're a freak of Nature. These Gay Guys that get married to Straight Women and have Children do it because they're trying to deny who they actually are. Same goes for Lesbian Women and Straight Guys having Children.

i think one of the reason that a women might marry a gay guy is because he's a whole lot nicer to her she probable thinks all guys are jerks because all they do is think about women and having sex and some women don't want to be with a guy that are like that because it's might easier to be married to a gay guy for some people because she knows that he will never be sexual attracted to her in that way...

maybe she is in love and realizes that her Mr. Right just happens to be a gay guy!!!! We as a society should not descriminate on lesbians and / or much less on homosexuals because they in their right mind are people with true feelings just like the person next door.

There are many reasons. I worked for an airline for 31 years. and not long ago only spouses could get passes..so a marriage would allow people to travel with their friends...sometimes people get married for tax purposes......sometimes they genuinely love each other...sometimes for security....sometimes not to be alone and not to have to perform sexually...there are endless reasons.
