Whats wrong with African Americans?

Ok so my social studies teacher is making us find out why White, Black people and Asians and any other culture out there are still races today and more specifically he wants to know why people still have something against African Americans? So guys please help me with this!?!?!?!?!

that's misguided to mock every person's call. people who do it are ignorant. There are names that derive from international locations in Africa such simply by fact the call Baruti, that's of South African commencing place, and skill "educator", yet i've got confidence the names that are many times used interior the U. S. which includes Tyrell are actually not African American by using commencing place. Tyrell is particularly an previous French call, which i would not reccomend every person be named simply by fact of what this call incredibly skill. i do no longer pay interest to the media, so i don't understand in the event that they have a tendency to mock them.

Because blacks can' get over this "Slave" issue. All races have been slaves at one time or another in our history , even white people. But you don't hear other races crying the blue's all the time.Just about every day I hear some Black's bitching about something that happened long before I was even BORN yet and every day I tell them to shut the hell up and f*cking move on.But do they.Sh*t, they even have a National holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. , but do we have a day to honor President Lincoln or Washington?No, because that would be prejudice.We even have a United ***** College and that's okay. What do you think that would happen if we created a National Honky College?? We would never hear the end of it.Hope that helped answer your question.

Because people have had experience with them. I've been all over the country and every rotten part of town is always black. To top it off; everyone is sick and tired of hearing them whine about slavery when none of them were ever slaves (except to their drug dealer). Every immigrant who has come here recently is passing blacks economically and academically. It is time for black people to stop pissing and moaning are to start doing something with their lives. Asians and Mexicans don't have 'white guilt' so the pity party cannot last too much longer

There's some people who are just touchy because the things they learned from their maw and paw are now being called hateful and racist. They know they are in a backward minority, and it makes them touchy. Try to be patient with them, but insist they behave like gentlemen in your presence. It is only right.

People can transmit the most awful bilge -- and here I mean black, white, and all other varieties -- about "other people" not because they really think it is true, but because it is what they grew up hearing. It takes a bit of gumption to stand up to the others and say, "You know, you are not being fair."

Try it some time. Just that simple line, in a normal tone of voice, to someone who is displaying bad manners and specifically racism. "You are not being fair." If they ask what you mean, explain very simply, unemotional terms. Be specific. "The word you used is rude. It is not used in polite company." Or whatever. "You implied that . . . " and call them on their jargon.

Problem is, it may not be fair to engage in a battle of wits with such unarmed people.

Let me first make clear, for all the rude people on here who like to 'get back at others' that I have no problem with people of different colors, because the way that I answer may appear like I do. I've tried to figure this question out for a while now. In my opinion, I think alot of people have a problem with other races mainly because of the way their parents teach them to be that way. Therefore, not only as a child, but by the time they're adults, they're always trying to live up to their parents standards, since parents are our role models. Some of us, including myself, have grown up and have learned to have a mind of our own and are able to tell our parents, "You're wrong for thinking that way".

Another reason that I'm assuming that people think this way is maybe they grew up in a high crime area and all of the criminals were a certain color. Assuming that would make someone a racist. I've never experience that myself though. I'm just making assumptions. Noone knows the true answer to that.

I already see that I'm getting thumbs down. Why? I did not specify any certain color. I could be speaking of white people. I'm also not saying that I believe this way. I don't. I've just always thought that "There has to be some reason that people are racist" and this is all that I can think of. So many people on here always assume the worst....pure ignorance (lack of education)

I think a lot of non-blacks who dislike blacks have had bad experiences with blacks, where blacks have done something bad or have tried to harm the non-black person.

This idea that blacks are just some passive victims of opression needs to be discarded. Even in the days of slavery it wasn't like that. The blacks of today had to have learned their anti-social behavior from SOMEWHERE.

Hah! If it isn't obvious enough, maybe you should check out some statistics (in particular rape and murder) and you tell me. Better yet, try living in an area completely infested with these "african americans". If you aren't killed or beaten senseless, maybe their horrible attitude and stench will show you why they're not liked.

Because some people are stupid.Some people don't like black people,white people,Asian,Christians,Muslims,so on.........A lot of people are closed minded that is why our world is so crazy today.

Anyone that has anything negative to say about blacks or any other race for that matter needs to educate yourself and stop stereotyping, there is good and bad in every race or culture, it depends on who you are as an individual, not race.
