Benifits are actually quite hard to find, and will usually be listed in the job discription or mentioned at the interview. I had a job once where the 'competitive benifits' were free fountain drinks while working. And that was for full time. Good luck, and may you find a good job with benifits.

A small business is exempt from most benefit packages that many larger business must offer by the National Labor Law. By law in my state, a small business doesn't even have to pay minimum wage. There is an argument there but the state does not pursue the minimum wage law for small businesses with just 2 or 3 employee's.

no, it is not mandatory to offer benefits. however, with bennys being offered less and less as time passes, they are becoming more and more crucial to retaining and keeping employees happy.
