THE 500 IS A VOLVO FRAME. BOTH STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN THANKS TO FORD STINKING TO HIGH HEAVEN.
TAKE A STRONG, STRONG LOOK AT THE NEW PASSAT. MOST CAR FOR THE MONEY.
IGNORE ALL THE IDIOTS DESTINED TO BE BELOW ME TAKING ABOUT TOYOTA OR HONDA. OOOO-VERRR-RAAAAA-TED!!!! UNNNN-DERRRRR-POWWWW-ERED!!!! UNDERWARRANTIED AND BOOOOORING!!!!
VW HAS A GREAT WARRANTY AND THE BEST CRASH TEST RATING EVER.... EVER MEANING PERFECT SCORE. GOOD RESALE TOO. ANOTHER GOOD OPTION IS A HYUNDAI SONATA, BELEIVE IT OR NOT.

The 500 has gotten good ratings all accross the board. I love it when guys like the person who posted first post because everything sucks besides their favorite car company. Dont take just one persons word for it do a little research and then test drive the cars you have in mind.
The 500 is basically the taurus but updated. It has the same motor and just the updated frame. Its rocking a hole 3 more horsepower and it sits 90 degrees different but its the same block and heads. The crash rating is up and so is the waranty. I love how you can get them in the AWD now it hink that was a huge accomplishment from ford. I like the car. If i was in the market i would for sure look at one!

I am in the rental car business. Everyone who has rented a FORD 500 has LOVED it! It gets GREAT gas mileage, and is a very comfortable ride. Good Luck!
