That's a hard one, well here goes. I don't know if I'll get 10 though
1. minerals can be measured on a scales of hardness, mohs
2. all minerals must contain a Crystal lattice of atoms.
3 minerals can have the same chemical composition but different appearance- polymorphic, isomorphic
4. minerals can change due to hydrothermal alteration metamorphic, hydrolysis
5. minerals can be earthy, metallic or vitreous in luster
6. some minerals can be ID by their cleavage. (no they don't have boobs)
7. some minerals can be ID by their habit, long and skinny, short fat, tetrahedral, dodecahedral etc.
8. minerals can be organic(limestone and other carbonates) or inorganic(just about every thing else that dosent contain carbon).
9. I give up, well 8 out of 10 Isn't bad. I'm going to sleep now.

Botswana, officially the Republic of Botswana (Tswana: Lefatshe la Botswana), is a landlocked nation in Southern Africa. Citizens of Botswana are Batswana (singular: Motswana), regardless of ethnicity. Formerly the British protectorate of Bechuanaland, Botswana adopted its new name after becoming independent within the Commonwealth on September 30, 1966. It is bordered by South Africa to the south and southeast, Namibia to the west, Zambia to the north, and Zimbabwe to the northeast. The economy, closely tied to South Africa's, is dominated by mining (especially diamonds), tourism, and cattle.
