on six island im supposed to use cut in front of a door to a ruin but there is a guy in the way how do i get in?

you have to talk to the guy and then he will move and you can cut down the tree *im not sure if this is right cause i dont know which island what is the name of that island. i have beat this game*

I forgot the fire red along time ago ! I was a master of master of this game !!!
I only remember the the red version,fire red was made based on red !!!
So I think that u have to win the League first and then u can go to the ruin ! U 'll have to fight/catch Mewtwo !!!
I don't know if it's right,it's been a long time !

Go to 4 island, into icefall cave, get hm 07 (waterfall), go back to the first room you came in and go up the waterfall, rescue lorelei and then go back and use cut. it shouldn't be blocked
