Cells are the smallest living units of life.

Cells combined together to make tissues. Tissues combined together to make organs. When organs are combined, systems are created.

These are the levels of organisations in a multicelluar organisms.
The basic unit of living organism is CELL. The cells multiply and differentiate into TISSUES. The tissues,in turn, constitute specific ORGANS. The related organs are put together to constitute ORGAN SYSTEM for bringing about a particular phsiological function. Various organ systems work in co-ordination to bring about the function of Organism.
