I believe that there are two different possibilities of extreme liking. [I do not believe in "love"] but
1. people want a relationship partially because they are going through hard times and want the support, the other person has lots of money and can be helpful to your reputation and all the materialistic things.
-or-
2. People actually LIKE the other person because they are fun, easy to hang around, and caring. The person may be good looking or perhaps a close friend.

People fall in love if they care about one another and have feelings for each other. They also might think they have a future together in getting married and starting a family. They also enjoy each others presence and wan't to spend the rest of their lives together.

There are lots of reasons people for falling in love.
1.Looks
2.Emotions
3.Common interests
4. Pheromones
5.Heterosexual couples fall in love procreate the species.
6. Money
There are people who will not agree with me but that's ok.

Attraction, similar interests, looks, money, get along well, want a family, hormones, etc. Some people just know when the time has come for them to settle down, and hopefully do so with someone they truly love.

Gonna say because they no longer wish to think only of themselves but want to include some else in the misery that life may throw at them. Misery loves company that's why we have marriage.

It's maybe because some people feel incomplete, and they find someone that completes them.
It is also possible that the person feels lonely, and so finds someone to spend time with.

I don't know but it freakin sucs sometimes. I think its because you find something in another person that you feel you lack in your own life. Like for instance, I feel that I am a heart thinker, but my specail someone is a head thinker. I think that she helps to balance me out,
and rationalizes things for me...
