I got stitches on my left upper cheek on Jan. 12. The top layer was removed on the Jan. 16th. I plan on playing soccer competitively before my complete 3 weeks. I feel totally fine at the moment. I should be playing sometime around the 23rd thourgh the 26th. What can I do to prevent my injury from opening up again while playing a soccer game? Thanks

good luck to you and your team. also don't get hit to hard...lol

Be alert! If you see the ball, move.
Put some vitamin E on the site now. This will help the skin heal shut & help prevent scarring, too.

place a couple of steri-strips on wound to keep it together during the games. Its really best to let it heal but I know you must play ball right?
