funny how the word 'politics' is made up of the words 'poli' meaning 'many' in Latin, and 'tics' as in 'bloodsucking creatures’?

Yeah. If it's political, then it could be "manytical" and politics would be "many bloodsucking creatures". Maybe the people who are in politics are considered as the "many bloodsucking creatures"...
