O is the one with the moving platform and water! - It's expensive, and seats sell many times in advance - way ahead of schedule.
I got very near the front, and had side seating - all seats are very good near the stage. So amazing.
There are many deals at expedia.com and travelocity.com
lasvegas.com

There are casinos everywhere - so don't feel you have to lose all of your money at one location.
There are roller coasters on top of tall buildings.
There are white tigers on the first floor side area of the Mirage.
There are outside shows at Treasure Island.
Gambling:
There are many where you can lose $50 without even trying, then win $10, then win another $50.
It's easy to lose $100+ a day minimum, so if you're smart
you'll back away if you lose $20 - and try your luck another time, or another day.

Best location, and I stayed there January 2006, was the Mirage and it's next to Treasure Island, across from Venetian Grand canal, and down the street are Bellagio and the Eiffel tower.
You can walk everywhere, or take the bus when your feet get tired (very cheap).

Don't forget to lunch at the Eiffel tower - pricey but great, great food, and across from the fantastic Bellagio fountains that have themes - yes dancing fountains w/music when you're outside to hear.

Lunch also at the revolving restaurant -where you can see all of Vegas during the day - THE STRATOSPHER. The food was magnificent and you can see if you go at lunchtime - where the people of Las Vegas live and the mountains that surround it.

Las Vegas - I saw Jay Leno and he was non-stop for 1 & 1/2 hours of jokes, and we got the last 2 seats in the far section, and it was still somewhat close because the entertainment area was well done!

We went to see Mystere show - and the best is called "O" which means water in French. The stage actually opens for people to dive into, and then closes for people to walk on it.
So amazing.

At the end of 7 days, I was ready to come home. It's exciting, but not enough to say, wow someday I'd consider living there.

GOD bless us one and all, always.

Cirque Du Soleil: "O" is my personal favorite for all of thier shows, as well as my favorite show in Las Vegas. "Mystere" also deserves a strong mention, the first one there, and still one of the best shows on the strip (also has the plus of being an easier ticket to get than "O"). Other Cirque offerings are still good, but I didn't find "Ka" to be on par, and "Zumanity" was a bit of fun (have heard it's improved since it first opened, which was when I saw it... but also a choice only if you are looking for an adult show). I've not seen "Love" but sure it will be at least good (though maybe a hard ticket to get at the moment).

Penn & Teller: Great show. A few good laughs and some unorthodox magic!

Blue Man Group: I know people that are much bigger fans of this than I... but while I may not quite be entralled, this was a fun show and I would see it again.

Spamalot is soon to open at Wynn, so depending on when you go and if this is along the line of something you'd like, that will almost certainly be a good option (it's currently topping my list for my next visit).

The best show, which also is free, is the Fremont Street Experience. This show takes place every hour on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas.

Since I am a huge Cirque fan, definitely any Cirque Du Soleil show if you haven't already. I think there are three shows performed year-round : "O", "Mystere" and " Ka" each at one of the hotels found along the strip.

Celine Dion is fabulous. I would also recommend LeReve at Wynn, Mystere at Treasure Island, KA at MGM and The Beatles: Love at Mirage.

I don't care for "O" all that much ... I would go see LeReve over and over before I would go see "O" again. Just my opinion.

This is Celine Dion's last year at Caesar's.

We just saw the show and it was really good. (I'm not really a Celine Dion fan, but I did enjoy the show very much).
