I have seen two ghosts in my life, so I was just wondering if it is more common than I think. Please share your stories with me.

I have seen a ghost. It was in my doorway of my bedroom. I sat up in bed awake and saw a figure stading in my doorway. I thought it was my father. I called out "Dad? is everything ok?" Then the figure started to sink into the floor. I freaked out and pulled the covers over my head. ( I was only 14 or 15 at the time ) I remember seeing this thing with a hat on its head. i didnt think of it at the time .. I was was just freaked out.

A week later my Mom pulled out the old family album and a picture fell out of the pages. When I picked it up I saw the man in the picture wearing a Derby hat. It was my Great Grandfather. "THATS HIM!!" I yelled. my mom told me who he was and I told her that I saw him. She told me that it was not possible for me to see him because he was dead for more than 50 years.

I feel that my Great grandpa was just looking after me and saying hello.

I have also seen the ghost of my favorite pet cat, and I believe that it was his spirit that made my clock chime when it was broken for many years.

I haven't *seen* a ghost, but I think I *experienced* a ghost. Some friends and I were at a conference in FL and went out to eat in a restaurant that's in the basement of an old Victorian house. Five of us were there, and at least three times during dinner I got that feeling that someone was missing... you know, like when you're about to say, "Oh, wait for So-and-so to get back, she'll want to hear this too." And each time, I had to count and remind myself that no, we were all there. The third time it happened I asked if the others felt anything, and two other people said they thought the place was haunted. Later, when we developed pictures we'd taken of ourselves at that restaurant, there were all kinds of light-streaks everywhere, as if someone had been running around with a sparkler leaving a light trail.

I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. I'm just saying, it felt ghostly to me.

I've never seen a ghost, but I've read loads of stories that make me wish I would so I could figure out for myself exactly what people are experiencing. A woman named Chris Woodyard wrote a series of books called "Haunted Ohio," listing hundreds of ghost tales from that state, including many that she experienced herself. Quite a lot were based on hearsay of the "My brother's best friend's uncle told my mom he saw a ghost" variety. Other people have had such terrifying experiences that they had to flee their homes in fear.

I have a friend whose porch has four sets of tube-shaped wind chimes hanging up, from smallest to largest, with the longest tube being about two feet long. She says the biggest set often moves and chimes by itself when there's no breeze or wind; she says it's her mother communicating with her. (Dunno how she knows this.) I did see them move several times, and the other chimes--which are smaller and lighter-weren't moving at all, but maybe there's some kind of air currents causing it.

yes i did
i was at my uncle's house and his house had a window by the front door and you could see the side of the house next door
now this house was really weird
it was a beautiful big home with a nice yard and everything but everyone who ever went to live there usually never lived there for more than 3 months
well anyways i looked out the window and i was looking at the house and then when i looked at the 2nd story bedroom window there was a person standing there with short dark hair and sunglasses
i never knew for sure if it was a ghost but it scared the crap out of me
I'm so glad my uncle decided to move!

No I actual have on no account considered a ghost and need I do sometime, yet I actual have considered issues that won't be able to be defined. i'm fairly beneficial i've got considered a mum or dad angel and that i think spirits are around us each and all of the time.

I have been fortunate, or unfortunate as you may think, to have seen a number of spirits, although I have had more experience talking with and hearing them.
A time I saw one was around the time my aunt passed away from cancer. The evening she actually died as I was going to sleep I saw her standing at my bedroom door. It was only the day after that I found out she had passed away that night, although I had a feeling about it.
Most of my experience come having very strange conversation with deceased relos. My maternal grandfather used to have alot to say about my smoking habit when I lived away from home. He passed away 4years before I moved out.

Ive seen a few and felt many. The two main instances where I saw something a second person also saw the same thing (both people have seen ghosts before).
When I started my new school I met a guy known as Ben, who after a while of getting to know him, told me that he could see ghosts. I had seen odd things before and I felt supernatural presences offen, but I didnt really believe him that he could see ghosts.
I was at his house once for a party and a group of us were standing outside talking when all of a sudden Ben stated that he saw a ghost down the end of the street near the bush. He didnt describe what it looked like and i continued to keep talking. After about a minute I looked down towards the bush where I saw a blue outline of what appeared to be a cloaked man/woman. I thought i must be imagining things so I asked Ben to describe what he saw. To see if he was telling the truth I didnt describe to him what I saw. To my suprise he described exactly what I saw.
The seond instance where I and someone else saw something was in a graveyard. My dad and i decided to go and check out one of the large cemetries near our house. I didnt believe that ghosts would appear in cemetrys because it wasnt where they died. Anyways we were walking down the main pathway into the cemetry when we saw an overweight lady seeming to be dancing around a couple of the tombstones. Our first reaction was WTF, but we decided to keep low and watch what she was doing. She continued to dance for a bit until she stopped and turned to look straight towards us. I was shocked. We had made no sound walking down the path and we were hiding behind a bush so i have no idea she knew we were there. She then turned around and began running towards the forest yet we never saw her legs because they were constantly behind something. The odd thing was that as she ran, her body didnt bob up and down as someone normally does when running (expecially someone over weight) and she moved extremly fast (put it this way. she was able to outrun me and my dad as we ran the same direction back to the car, and we are both quick runners).
When we made it back to the car she was nowhere to be seen. I asked my dad WTF was that, but he just replied ive got no idea but im getting the f*** out of here. As he turned the car around to drive off a man with a black dog was standing at the entrance to the gate. He looked like the care taker but while we were in the cemetry we had full range of sight of the entire cemetry and no one else was there. Not saying he was also a ghost but we have no idea of how he got there so fast.
I have alot of other stories (not just mine) if u would like to hear them. My msn address is darkizayoi@hotmail.com.

I have never seen one right infront of me, but i have heard loud noises made by one when no one was upstairs lol. It sounded like someone going through stuff in the bathroom, like pill bottles, and messing with the trashcan. I'm pretty sensitive to that stuff. And when I was little i saw something.

I'm not that sensitive. I've had not onem, but five, freaky premonitions about car accidnets, mine and others'.
I've felt the presence of a dead person in a house of a friend's family that I JUST met-
and the previous owner had killed himself there.
Help you, maybe?
