Personally I love Asian women, I think there is something very special about them, I love the way they look physically and believe they have beautiful souls. But I hate when people say that men who love Asian women do so because they are submissive, docile, or don't stand up for themselves. I really don't understand this, why do people take Asian women with high morales, grace, and classiness and try to take it as a weakness. Women talk about being independent, strong, and progressive but I don't really see it. More and more when these days are having kids at younger ages and out of wedlock, where as you don't see that with Asian women. Asian women women also on average are higher paid then women of other races, and also have a higher percentage of getting of getting college degrees then any other race. Also look at the skyrocketing HIV and STD infections in women, its happening to all women except you guessed it Asian women. Look at the women you see in public that are extremely loud and cursing, and then look at the Asian who carry themselves with class and don't have to resort to using that gutter language. Look at the the women who need to wear revealing clothes to get attention, you rarely see this with Asian women. Look at the divorce rates, Asian women have the lowest divorce rates of any women. How can anyone honestly believe Asian women are submissive and docile when they are so much more successful, why would they even want to act like American women?

In all honesty which one sounds more independent and progressive?
Asian women
-On average are paid higher
-On average more likely to hold a college degree
-Less likely to have have children at a very young age
-Less likely to have children out of wedlock
-Less likely to catch Aids and STD's
-Lower divorce rate
-Doesn't have to resort to dressing reveling to get attention

or

American women
-On average paid less the Asian women
-Less likely to hold college degrees then Asian women
-More likely to have children out of wedlock
-More Likely to have children at a younger age
-More likely to catch Aids or STD
-Higher divorce rate
-more likely to wear revealing clothes

Now honestly who seems like the progressive and independent one, and which one seems like a train wreck?

The problem with American women is that they think being rude to men, being pro miscues, and basically having no morales or direction some how makes them free and independent. As for Asian women I hope they never become completely Americanized, I hope they keep their sweet, classy, and caring personalities. I want them to know there are tons of men out their who love them and don't believe the submissive/docile BS.

Not all Asian women are submissive. I'm Asian-American and if any man tries to take control over my life, I'll dump him.

People get these crazy perceptions from movies that have Asian cast members. These people really need to watch a movie starring Lucy Liu (Charlies Angels, The Cleaner).

Asian women can be American if they're a citizen of the USA. I'm Asian, but I'm also 100% American. Anyways, I wouldn't go as far as saying that Asian women have more class then other women. You are generalizing. I honestly don't believe that men only like Asian women because they are "docile or submissive" either. That is just an old stereotype. Some people can't seem to realize that people like people for who they are, not what they are.
Oops. I didn't really answer your question. lol.

The stereotype of Asians being submissive comes from older movies (see The World of Suzy Wong, etc) and a lot of American military experience in R&R ports like Thailand. There is also a difference between foreign Asian women and Americanized Asian women and the cultural differences within Asian groups (Chinese, Southeast Asian, etc). Although many Asian women are actually very dominant, the stereotype is popular because I think Asian people in general act are so are perceived as quiet, reserved, etc.

I dont know where you are getting you assumption that people are stereotyping asian women. Asian women wear just as revealing clothes as american women do if not more. Just like americans, asians have their race queens import models. Go to a club majority of the go go dancers are asian. They are just as promiscous as american people are. I have heard many a asian woman ripping in there man in public fighting. You are not looking at all aspects of the culture. You are comparing high class asians to lower class americans. there is a difference in classes not races. Asians have there lower class as well with their massage parlors, hostess clubs and etc. Divorce rate? lol all my asian friends parents have been divorced if not more. Where do you live? Are you in some southern state where there is maybe like 3 asian girls in your town?

Sounds to me like you just have better luck getting with asian women, and got sick of american women turning you down. You also should be a little more clearer, what do you mean american women because there is such a thing as an asian american. you're question is just full of inconsistencies, contradictions and ignorance.

hmm, my thoughts on this. And im American and a women.

My thoughts on why I feel Im independent, is because I dont need a male figure to support me. And, ha, I think american men are upset because american women are feeling that way now. and it isnt like it used to be anymore, where american women "bow" down to their husband's or men.
I dont have to be sleeping with every man I see to make me feel independent, and I feel the same about most american women. we dont do that to show our independence, the ones who do sleep around are the one's with security and male issues period (i think).
and as for asian women being higher paid, i probaly would be higher paid as a nurse too, if I were a minority in the USA.

and as for higher divorce rate, that's probaly because american men still believe we should be the old fashioned kind of women, where dinner will be served when you say, sex will be given when you ask, we will stay home and raise children because that's what we were born for, ect. now that's BS. and if american men cant handle the fact we have found our independece and becoming our own person, then marry an asian, we dont care:)

Wow! Why don't you write a book, and put all this negativeness and fictional crap in it, you obviously have been misinformed on the HIV/STD stats, and the divorce rates stats and the entire theory of the women in America, accordingly to you all women in America are trash, and imbeciles, except Asian women. My advice to you is to, stand up, get off your brain and get out and get a life, stop insulting people you don't know, especially the entire women's race, including yourself!

I'm not Asian or American so therefore not biased in any way. But really, any idiot can evidence a point using statistics.....statistics change all the time and are not a solid reflection of a society.

I have no idea where you get your information.HIV/AIDS cases in women are on the rise as we speak in the Philippines,Thailand, and,India. The Asian culture teaches women to be submissive. They are however very beautiful. They are the personification of femininity.

Here's the question for you:

Why do you feel the need to write a thesis on your thoughts about different women? No one really cares about what's going in that brain of yours. Write a book to sell it to someone who cares.

I think I can sort of appreciate what you're trying to say, but it is not at all an effective argument when you try to discredit a negative stereotype by throwing around other stereotypes.
