You can drag the program shortcut right into Quick Launch taskbar, or copy and paste a shortcut by using the right click mouse button right into the taskbar as well.

Right click on the bar and unlock it. Slide the right border in the quick launch area to the right to make it larger. Drag any desktop icon to the bar. Relock the bar.

to function to the bar, in simple terms drag an incon into the fast launch section. to eliminate, drag the fast launch out of the section and directly to the laptop. as quickly as on the laptop, you may delete the icon from there if needed.
