okay today my friends and i went to king soopers cause we were super bored. my friends went to the magazine section and me and my other friend went to the bathroom. my other friend was like i want a concealer. and i was like okay let's go buy it then. but she doesn't buy it and puts it in her pocket. i was like oooh. cause i've never stolen before. well we go to the candy section and i was like hey wanna get me some gum while your at it? and she puts the gum in her pocket too. we go back to the magazine section and hang out there for like 10 minutes and then leave. as we are leaving this guy comes up to my other friend and takes her to a room. i go up to him and say can i go see my friend?what's going on?he's all she's in custody and no you can't see her. well i called her later today and her parents picked her up and there is a $300fine.her mom wants to call my mom and make me pay for half of it.. i know the gum was my fault and i'm willing to pay for some of it. but half? opinions?

no i don't have a shift key. what am i gonna do ttailarro..??! LOL
anyway, i understand i should pay half. but my friend told her mom not to call my mom. -.-;; so now i'm gonna have to try to find a way to make 150 in 3 days or they'll double the fine or something. lesson learned i suppose.

You were an accomplice. Shes got the bum rep on file now and probably can't shop there any more. THe least you can do is pay half.

I think it would be a good lesson for you learn if you paid half.
Preferrably by working very hard at some distastefull job.
Shoplifting is a crime, one we ALL pay for in higher prices.

Seriously, stealing something because you are bored???? Be very, very happy that you like, aren't. like my kid. You having to pay back half of $300.00 would be LIKE the LEAST of your problems.
