Looking for something that has condos and a resort atmosphere with water sports....fun pools etc.

You may want to consider Westgate. They are a 5 star resort and the closest to Disney. They have several lakes with water activities. The resort has many amenities you may be interested in.

Seems like all but the Marriott answer is promoting something they have an interest in. The best Condo resorts ARE timeshares, especially those that are still selling. Any Marriott, Hilton or Starwood property is first class. Disney has great condo units at several properties, including Boardwalk and Old Key West. Just be careful with some of the others, they have high pressure sales programs!

We stayed at the Hilton Vacation Club property accross from Sea World. It was really nice and really inexpensive. I am not sure if there are water activities. I think it's on a lake, i remember walking near water, but don't recall seeing any activities. The pools are great. They have a pool at each condo unit and the main pool has five hot tubs. A few have water falls flowing into them. They have a pool bar and resort shop as well. They have kids activities, movie nights, get togethers for resort guests and a whole lot more.

Depending upon the money you want to spend, Marriott has some nice extended stay mini condo hotels.

This is a no brainer. Windsor Hills is probably the newest and the best. It's only 2 miles from Disney. Don't take my word for it just check out the photos and information at http://www.windsorhillsorlando.com
