Wow....there are so many. I actually had a CD all made and ready just in case I ever did croak, but my cat scratched it up. Mostly fun stuff like Imogen Heap or Barenaked Ladies. Only songs that aren't depressing. I wouldn't want people crying at my funeral. How boring would that be? (there would also be beanbag chairs in place of pews and a bubble machine, but those are details...)

The Worms Crawl In, The Worms Crawl Out...

I can't think of a more inappropriately funny (yet still fitting) song to have played at my funeral.

After seeing the movie " the big Chill", I like the idea of the stones, You can't always get what you want" and i like the Beatles, "In my life"....both seem very appropriate for the occasion and for who I am. Been to very few services that were not depressing, and I for one don't want people to be even more depressed by the music. So if they laugh at the choice, they will know that I picked it out.

I would like my Husband to play... I miss My Friend.... i cant remember who sings it, but I remember the video, the guy is talking about his best friend who is his wife and she passes away. Then I would want them to play some kick butt party song and really celebrate my life.... I have had a good life and a wonderful husband and child.... i would want my family and friends to totally know that I am in a wonderful place and that I will always be watching over them.
