I know a guy that recently was paralized due to a gunshot wound. I am really attracted to this guy. But I was just wondering, if we ever got intimate. Will he be able to get an erection. He currently uses catheters (urinary).

Yes they can. The catheter can be changed to an in-dwelling catheter, one going into the bladder without going through the penis or a catheter that seals around the penis like a condom and can be removed when sex is desired.

Christopher Reeve told Barbara Walters in an interview that "it's a reflex", so yes, it's possible for a guy to get an erection even if he's quadraplegic. You two really should consult a doctor or nurse (RNs only) first to make sure you don't damage anything. Most likely you would be on top.

It may take him some time, but yes...paralyzed men can get erections. It has to do with the mind; seriously.

yes a friend of mine was paralyzed and he was able to get erections
