I had my blood pressure taken today and it was 97/88. I'm a 19 year-old female; 5'4", 110 lbs.

Is this healthy?

it's o.k. the 88 number is a little high but it could be you were a bit nervous before your reading.alot of the time ,stress will raise your blood pressure.and we all know that stress can kill!!!

Yeah. Your diatolic could be a little lower, but that's a fine BP. If that bottom number is always 88, you might run it past your doctor.

97 is awesome... 88 a bit high... 110/70 is about ideal... sounds good to me!

97 is the pressure which is good
88 which is your heart beat could be slower
cut out salty foods. and salt

Yes, as long as you are not bleeding or fainting when you stand up. Lots of people run normally in this range

its supposed to be 120/80--thats is average
