By asking this, if you wish to unlock secrets of your past because you've felt you've had a connection with the planet in some mystified way that has had you baffled for years; then yes. Seeking out information in order to learn the respected practice that is pagan you can do.

If you mean you want to wear a black hat, hurt people on All Hallow's Eve, turn people into toads (or harm them in anyway), point your finger and have magic happen, ride on a broomstick, flaunt the fact that you think you can "perform" physical magic at others who bother you/just to flaunt your ego; then no. You cannot be a witch; matter of fact you'll NEVER be a witch.

And to all the people that are busy jumping on the fact that witchcraft is bad and Jesus is the only way, take a chill pill!! Since when was religion based into the question?? He's asking if he can BECOME a pagan, NOT what you think he should do. P.S.: if being a witch is such a bad thing, why is it common practice to have a christmas tree every year? Can you guess where the idea originated from??

As a cartoon charater or as in changing your religion?

I am an artist, but don't know how to do caractures but if it is the religion part I will tell you some of what I know.

You can be anything you wish to be. I am a witch, so do not believe those who say we don't exist or are evil. We do not worship the devil

I can't tell you what Coven life is like because I do not know. I am Pecti-Witan (aka Hedge Witch, not Wiccan) a "solitary" practitioner of "the Old Religion", and have been for many, many years.

Being a "Witch" is nothing like what is portrayed in movies or on Television. There is nothing flashy about it. we are fairly simple people with "abilities" that everyone has, ours are just honed and utilized. Lots of research and practice. There is a lot to learn when you are dealing with herbal, mineral and candle magick.

I read tarot cards, rune stones and utilize a number of other "fortune telling" tools but would NEVER charge anyone for anything I do! Besides, I do not do "readings" or "cast spells" for others on demand. That sounds more like a carnival ruseor a con!

I know you are very young so I am going to make a suggestion.

Before you decide that this is the path you wish to follow please look into other religions. I strongly suggest Buddhism. I would also like to ask what has attracted you to witchcraft? Are you dissatisfied with your current path? Why?

When I was very young my parents encouraged me to learn about all religions, so I did. Books are an excellent source, providing you get the right ones, there are some I would avoid. I prefer Scott Cunningham. One question you must ask yourself is are you looking for the structured system of a Coven or would you prefer the life as a "Solitary"? Buckland has some very good books outlining both. But my favorite book is still "Wicca, a Guide for the Solitary Practitoner". It is a good place to start (or affirm).

You also have to have a thick skin, because even in this "advanced" civilization there are still those who believe we worship the devil (LMAO), and would rather turn a blind eye to the world around them. Some will even admit that they think we should be burned at the stake! Ignorance knows no bounds.

I hope you find the answers you were looking for.

Blessed Be

Katrina... you are a witch. As am I, but the magical buffer of this world is very heavy because so many refuse to beleive that we can, even after Jesus Christ showed us all we could, they twisted it around, and suddenly the witchs are the baddies. Before they were the high priestesses.

So with this heavy magic buffer around this earth, onemust truely gain mastery.

So the takew the advice above, read some books, maybe find a sensei to teach you.

good luck, we are both on this road

Yes.

I get e-mails all the time about studying magic. You can be a witch, and just be sure not to make love potion #9.

i don't think so because witches were excuted in the medi-evil times where princess, princes and wizards exist, including dragons. Witches were bought to extinction along with dragons but that's because of another reason.

Even if you did study spells and magic it will be impossible. I've so myself when i was young and they say that if humans carry magic, our body won't be able to handle it so we could just die.

And besides, why would you want to be a witch? I mean, i could just pour water over you can you'll just die!

It depends rather on what you mean by 'witch'. If you mean someone who is a Wiccan, then yes, you can.

If you mean someone with a pointy hat and a black cat and who flies on a broomstick, then it's unlikely unless you are on stage or it's Halloween.

Don’t bother. I used to fool around with the occult, years ago, and I learned that it always harms you, and never achieves anything good. Jesus is more powerful than all the witches, satanists, Santeria, obeah and voodoo practitioners, of whatever persuasion.

Jesus rules now, though they may not realize it, and He will win against them all in the end, and continue to rule in the end. I side with Him, now. I’d like to recommend to everybody that they side with Him, if you want to spend eternity in the non-smoking section.

Are you asking this because you think you have special powers, or are you asking because it is something you want to be? Witches aren't real.... why would you want to be one? what is your faith, do you believe in God? if you do then you know you don't want to be something evil!!
