I tried playing a game on my computer and when I clicked to play, it said: "MGS requires at least 4 MB of video accelerator memory available. Currently, there is not enough video memory on this system to run the game in hardware mode. The game will run correctly, but only in software mode. If more video memory is made available, MGS will run in hardware mode. For more information, correct your hardware." What can I do to fix this problem. When I clicked ok it wouldnt let me play it at all! Please help, thanks!!

You might need a new graphic card. ATI or nVidia works. Make sure it's the medium to high end cards, not the low end.

That would strongly suggest you're trying to run 3d games on a on-board video card. There is typically no on-board video card (except for a few notebooks) that can actually play games. Probably need a new video card with T&L support. goto www.tomshardware.com for benchmarks.

I think you need a 128 or 256 MB Video Card, it can be an AGP or PCI-Express depending on your motherboard.

You definately need a better graphics card. The big question is... can your other hardware support a better card?

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
