What about a nice bunch of flowers? Four months isn't a long time. I think unless you're 100% sure then jewellery isn't a good idea. IF you were to break up, you'll regret giving her jewellery. Buy flowers (not crappy ones), and maybe take her out (dinner and a movie - one that either she'll like, or you'll both like).

If I had a boyfriend and he was going to be buying me a gift for valentines day, I wouldn't care what it was, I would be just happy to recieve a gift.
Tommy 10 - its the latest edition perfume by Tommy, it's really nice and that's something i'd love.
It's up to you if u wanna buy her some jewellery, any girl would love getting jewellery but I think that's something you get after 6 months to a year.
Dont get chocolates or flowers, I think that's just taking the easy way out.
As long as you put a bit of thought into what you buy her, I'm sure she'll love whatever you get.

The best gift is expressed. Dont you think we emphasize too much on expensive things no matter on xmas or valentine or birthdays? Gold, silver, prada, gucci, etc. It could be dangerous, for the relationship can turn materialistic. Therefore, you ought to get her something special in its meaning and fulfill its purpose. I advise you to walk with her on the beach or watch sunset with her. End the day with a very passionate kiss and with a heartfelt confession of your love to her according to your own evaluation. If you get prefer getting a small present, i suggest a necklace or an apple with a card. If it is love, every minute spending with the lover is worth more than other man-made gift. Time is limited and this could be divine. Its the memory that is beautiful.

You can't go wrong with gold, bud. And it doesn't have to be pricy. Modern gold plating looks as good as solid, and the process has improved so much that if it's done right, it will last about as long as the real thing. Trust me, she'll never know the difference if you don't show her the receipt! My suggestion would be a necklace, a heart on a chain. Tell her she's got your heart. That gets 'em every time.

Go shopping with her! That way, you're still getting her a gift and you know that she loves it!
