indie rock??
if you are bored with your music i suggest that you branch out.
there are so many genres of music, all interconnected in some way.
blues: Son House, Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker
reggae: Barrington Levy, Buju Banton, Damian Marley
jazz: John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington
bluegrass: Yonder Mountain String Band, South Austin Jug Band, Bela Fleck
Hip/Hop: Aesop Rock, Immortal technique, A Tribe called Quest
as for indie you probly already know them but i love Wilco, and the Mars Volta.
good luck i hope you figure it out.
browse itunes for a while.

Try: www.abc.net.au/triplej

Or if your in itunes click on the part where is shows you similar bands and sample them.

Or try myspace music - you can search specifically for indie bands too - which means you can skip the popular crap

I was pleasantly surprised to hear Walk Away and The Dark of the Matinee by Franz Ferdinand pop up on my ipod yesterday. You could try those. So hard not to get into the beats.

Well, my all time favorite band is Interpol. Their mellow at times, but the music is reallllly good and detailed, and the lyrics are awesome. So if you like, eh, darker music i guess. Their awesome. Thier not emo or anything though. Oh and the strokes.
