Your Answer is 4.43
Explination, 4 goes into 17 4 times equaling out to 4 and up top and leaving 16 under the 17 with 1 left over (17-16 =1). Now if drop the 7 down from the top to the 1 left thats left over it will make 1.7
Then again 4 goes into 1.7 4 times leaving 4 uptop again, and another 1 left over because (17-16=1) and so far your answer is 4.4 at the top.
Now if you drop the 2 down to the 1 thats left over you will have 12 and 4 goes into 12 3 times given you your answer of 4.43 with nothing left over.
Its hard to explain with written but I did my best and I hope you understand it.
