The easiest way to diagnose this problem is to ask yourself two questions:

1. If I'm playing the game against my computer and not over a LAN, is it slow then?
2. If I'm playing against my friend on a *wired* network, is it still slow?

I suspect you'll find that the culprit is the wireless network situation. Even "Fast" Wireless networks suffer greatly under heavy load, especially when it's heavy load from more than one computer. My suggestion would be to buy some network cable go and wired. It's way simpler, easier to set up (except for running the cable) and it has much higher connection resilience. That, and, unless you're running over very large distances, i.e. hundreds of feet, there will be no noticeable loss in speed due to distances.

The problem is you're using wireless internet. Either that or people are downloading on your lan, which would slow down your download/upload speed. Another thing COULD be your graphic cards. If you have average/bad graphic cards, your game would run slow and that would affect the lan game.

If ur speed is still slow, you could try disabling the QoS packet switcher (it is only used to check all of the packets and can cause a fair bit of lag on a wireless network), by going into wireless properties and unchecking the box

2d life. There are roleplay factors (like the video games you reported), and different factors that are completely distinctive. it fairly is like the entire worldwide, plus all of the imagined worldwide. Oh, and it fairly is loose.

Firewalls could be stopping you from getting your full speed.
