and just so everyone knows, i don't have anything against gay people. i was just curious, that's all. i could really care less about his music, all i want to know is his sexual preference.

This is not just my opinion. This is what he has said numerous times, including sources (a video interview, and a past post that includes sources as well). He has said numerous times in Rolling Stone magazine especially, the first Diane Sawyer interview, and many other interviews that he's not gay. In one magazine, and also in the first Diane Sawyer interview he said "I know I have some effeminate qualities, I was raised by my mom and my grandma...I'm not blind to it...in Hollywood you're either a womanizer or you're gay, because I'm neither people don't know what to do with me." Also, in his book "Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life" he said that his biological father was abusive, and rude to women, and because of that he's completely opposite when it comes to treating women. He said he saw what his father did, and that made him respect women a lot more and if that makes people think he's gay so bet it, he said he's not gonna change how he acts. I really respect that fact that he is who he is and he's not gonna change that. He has his morals and values, and that's that. So, he has answered the question numerous times, and some people still choose not to believe him, which is why he has stopped answering. He says that as long as the people who know him, and the people he cares about know the truth then that's fine with him, for the people who still don't believe him after all this he doesn't want to waste his time answering anymore and I respect that too. Of course, it's up to you if you want to believe this or not, but to answer your original question he has said no lots of times, and here are some sources supporting that. Hope this helps.

My personal opinon: No. I've got a guy friend who acts a LOT like Clay does, and we're going out. And I know for a fact that I'm a girl, and he's a guy.
I just don't understand why people are so obsessed with people's sexual preferences unless we really like them. Why is it any of our business?

Omg! that jogs my memory, I gotta circulate examine that out on the main website! I knew from an extremely long term in the past that hes gay. My buddy and that i cracked up as quickly as we observed that he finally got here out of the closet! LOL

i dont know and I dont care- it does not change the fact that hes a good singer. wether or not hes GAY- thats his personal business. His music is for sale- not his personal life.
