I know for a fact, according the newspaper reports shortly after the death of Freddie Mercury (Queen’s lead singer), that Mercury was a bisexual. It very well could be that the other band members are gay or bisexual as well. Does it really matter? They were an immensely talented ensemble with memorable hits. They don’t make bands like that anymore.

Freddy Mercury became very sick and reclusive in his last year(s). Back in the late 80's/early 90's it was a death sentence and plague on the gay community. He denied the rumors he had publicly until right before he died. Ironically, around that same time Magic Johnson made national news as the first high profile "straight" star to come down with HIV. He's not only lived incredibly well since then (even making a return run in the NBA), his broadcasting, real estate, and other ventures have done incredibly well. God bless modern medicine!

Freddy Mercury ( lead singer) was gay, he died of AIDS, not sure about the other members of the band.

Most of Queen was gay. The lead singing died of a STD, I think.

I dont know if the band members are gay, but the lead singer who died was........Its sad, he passed-away......what a singer!!!
