I just got it done Yesterday and my Couches in school are making me take it out for Cross-Country.
Will it close up in about 30 minutes?

It will not close up in 30mins, but when I got mine pierced, they told me not to take it out, just to rotate it. But it will not close in 30mins just as long as you put it back in as oon as you get finished.

It's going to close right away because it was just pierced so the hole isn't fully there yet. So yes, it'll close, you can take it out and put new earrings in but if your coaches make you take it out, you'll have to take it out unless you want to give up cross country.

It may take months longer to heal and hurt more than the non cartilage pierced places, but you'll be right in style.

I don't think so, but why can't you just but a band aid over it or something? It's not like Cross-country is a contact sport...Or wear a hat that covers it.

i wont close up in 30min but it will start to try to heal itself. make sure you clean it really well before you try to put your earring back in because cartilage piercing get infected very easily.

yeah they close, or block pretty fast, try getting a clear colored earring or putting tape over it that way you dont have to take it out...before you start you should have it in for about two months.

No, probably not. It you leave it out for long periods of time then yeah, it probably would. If you dont want to take it out try covering it.

dont take it out!i made that mistake and i had to get it repierced!
