I am writing a paper about accidentally abortion, Like tripping up the stairs or getting hit in the stomach. I was wondering what happens after this happens. lets say you get hit in the stomach do you bleed out what was inside you if it was an early pregnancy? Just give me any info about abortion to help me understand. Thank you

Just because you get hit does not mean you Will have a miscarriage, I fell and this did not happen, I did have a friend who did later in pregnancy and she had a baby still born (born dead) I thought I was having a miscarriage with my last baby, I had massive bleeding, I had to be hospitalized, it turns out I had Placenta previa and that was causing the bleeding, I am sure you can google online spontaneous abortion or miscarriage and find out more.

Just to let you people know abortion and miscarsige are the same thing the difference is accidental and purpose. When a woman has a miscaraige your body aborts the baby. They only use a different term because the way it sounds

Weel first of all, it is NOT abortion if it is an accident - it is a misscarige. An obortion is when a woman deliberitaly goes to a clinic and has her baby removed from her body and killed. If your baby dies inside of you, you will usually bleed and sometimes will need a D&C to get what is left in out.

I think the term you are looking for is 'spontaneous abortion' and yes, if trauma is harsh enough, the body aborts...more like a miscarriage at that point.
