Yep! Here's some I've got:
+Make the effort! You always need to go to people-don't think that they all will come to you.
+Talk the people you see who are always alone. You never know if they are going through a tough time and need a friend. There is a lyric in a song that talks about being a friend to those who are alone because you might just save their life from suicide.
+Stick up for the people who are getting picked on for things that they cannot help. For example, if you see somebody being picked on because they are black or because they have curly hair or something like that, stick up for them. Just say, "Stop making fun of so and so, they can't help it if they have curly hair." (or whatever the kid is getting teased for.)
+Smile! 'Sounds cheesy, but trust me-I'm a real shy person and when I'm in front of the room presenting a project or something, a smile really makes me feel comfortable than an expression that looks as if the teacher is about to take that person's mug shot.
+Give out compliments! If you see a person walking down the hall wearing a cool shirt or has their hair done an awesome way, just don't think it-TELL them that you like it!
+Help others! If you see somebody struggling in one of your classes and are getting behind on class notes or classwork, help them get caught up. Also, help somebody who you see has their arms full.
+Join clubs or after school activities of things that you like to do. If you like to write join a club for that or if you like to dance join a dance team.
Last but not least: To keep friends-always do your best to stay true to them. Don't lie to them, people put their trust in you and it'd be really wrong to be fake to them in any way at all.
I hope I helped!

Try joining organizations that are involved in things you love doing. For example: if you love dancing , take some dancing classes. Dance classes are great ideas because one thing you would know at start is that every one is there because they are trying to learn how to dance, and second it will help improve your social skills. Step outside your comfort zone a little. As time pass you'll have many new friends and you would have learned something knew.

Step 1, pretend to more interested in other people, ask them questions about themselves and look interested when they speak.
Step 2. Laugh at other peoples jokes.
Step 3. Only start taking about yourself when you have them hooked.
Step 4. With women a good opener is I like your shoes/hair/dress etc etc.

try talking to the people that don't like you or you don't like. Be nice to them and don't be mad if they treat you bad at the beginning. You might get friends of people you might never imagined.
