remeadel college math classes?

Question

I took my placer test today and i have to take some remedial math classes for college its math 1301 and i just wanted to see if anyone had taken the class and how hard was it and the general 411 question

Each school tends to have its own remedial classes. If it's remedial, obviously it's going to be on the easy side. However, if you hope to get some actual experience answers, you'll need to let people know exactly which school you're talking about. Name of school, and what city and state it is in.

You didn't state your school so I searched it, I assume it's UTA you are going to and the class is elementary math?

It'll be easy. I tested in the class before algebra in math but talked them into letting me into accelerated beg algebra. Did you ask if you could try algebra? I had severe anxiety and my testing wasn't so good because I was in a room full of people when I did it a few years ago and I explained that so they said I could try it. If you do regular beginning algebra then you might be fine, especially if you have taken some before.

Oh, I should state that I have no idea what remedial classes are so I may be wrong with all of this. Sorry.

Well, I cant say for sure, but I would assume it's similar to high school math. Placement tests are there for the sole purpose of putting you in the right classes for you. I doubt they'd put you in the class if they didn't think you could handle it (there are usually different levels of remedial math, from algebra all the way down to basic arithmetic). If you still struggle, consider tutoring. Many schools provide tutoring services free to students. Good luck.

I passed my College Math class with an A, too. XD It was too easy.
