Any sort of Grunge Rock! I loved Nirvana, Alice n Chains, Silverchair, Soundgarden..etc
I also loved all of the corny songs, anything by TLC, SWV?! "I get so weak in the knees, I could hardly breathe, I loose all control..." ummm Matchbox 20 "Push", Stained, Limp Bizkit "Faith", Korn, Goo Goo Dolls, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Harvey Danger, anything by Madonna (old school) and all the old lovey-dovey country songs!
Ok, I can think of lots more, but Im going to get on limewire now...inspiration for new songs!

Why do people hark back to past decades?

The best music is being made right now.

Don't believe me?

Take a listen to Gruf Rhys, Peter, Bjorn & John, The View, The Fratellis, Shake Some Action! The Ruby Suns, Darren Hayman

Wake up and listen to the beat of the 21st century
