Because hate allows people not to have to think about the issue. It's easier to insult someone who disagrees with you than to take time and effort to explain why they disagree.

I really don't know. However, even consertatives listen to liberals. Take the news conference with Hillary and the other two Dem senators who went to visit the military. She said that they will most definitely authorize the increase in troops, for now, in Afganistan...and they will give financial support for those troops being sent. However, they want the Bush administration to stick to his word about 'no open ended' committments to Iraq. And, I feel, after listening to everything they had to say, that they are right.

So, it's depending on the intelligence level of each person who comes in here, how much they really care about what the other side had to say and if or not people are going to judge them on being opended minded enough to let the other side speak.

I mean, I voted for Bush both elections, but I just didn't like Kerry... and I'm convinced if he had experienced 9/11...we would have been up the creek without a paddle.

But the majority of consertatives are listening to what the libs are saying. I'm not telling you that I agree with everything, but I'm at least open mined enough to find out how their input will help strengthen and not weaken the current administrations efforts.

Does that help? Kids aren't reading, and they listen to friends, and not the people in the senate and what they are saying. They're listening to rock...while listening to the news at the same time. What can you do?? All I'm in fear of, is that these are supposed to be our future leaders??? Ohhhh, God help us.

It goes both ways. A Democrat may ask a question that "blows right by" a Republican. Most of the replies only insult each other. When you "know you're right" it makes it difficult to give any credibility to any viewpoints from the opposing side... kind of like your question here.

I have yet to see a serious question from you. So far today, all I see is whining about how the immature Dems are raining on your parade. I have read some of these questions of yours, & on every one so far you are blasting the Dems. So why can't you support your position with facts rather than insults? Grow up & join the real world. Until you show some respect, don't expect any in return.

Like you know the political affiliation of everyone who answers your questions/rants/insults. Try asking a question without loading it with an insult. If you notice, you usually get what you give on here.

Can't say that I've seen a serious political question from you...care to give a reference?

Is it possible that -- like this question -- you start from an assumption that there's something "wrong" with Democrats, and that's clearly shown in your answer? That kind of "question" (like all the questions here such as "why are liberals against national security?") isn't likely to engender debate, but to further fuel the flames of division.

Try asking in a different way :)
Peace.

You are wasting your time. I have tried to present unbiased reasonable questions. I have done the research to uphold my position. It is futile. Most of the people on here don’t care about truth, reason, or facts.

jeez, the serious political question must have accidentally been dropped out of your post...can't seem to find one there...maybe if you try turning down the 'zealot' setting and crank up the cogherence factor just a smidge, we kids could understand what the heck you're babbling about...

hey... here's a clue... maybe SOME PEOPLE don't care about the same issues you care about?

and you probably don't care about the issues I care about...

it's not "blowing by"... it's "why do I want to take the time to answer a question that I really don't care about?"

you can't care about everything... everyone has their own issues that strike them personally...

that's part of why you're a libertarian probably...

is it too much to understand that maybe we all don't care about the same things? maybe you should go shoot some more bambis...

I don't see a lot of Republicans answering your questions either.. nice job of showing your bias...

How come you expect a serious answer when you're too lazy to post relevant info with it?

Try not being such a pompous rear end and maybe you'll get a serious response.
