I would like to say yes, when i come on Yahoo! answers, and see all the discrimination and racism posted in the threads. It absolutely revolts me, and i try to tell myself that these are just freaks who have no lives, but then i realise to myself, that internet is a way to say what you can't really say in real life. So, the freaks who post these kind of remarks are probably normal people, who have normal jobs, and normal lives.
And if you met them one day at a party, you wouldn't think they were racist. It completely angers me, and as much as i report them, i never get an answer. I think to myself, if it was a racist remark towards average white americans, i'm sure the person who discriminated would be instantly done with?

I'm white and I have travelled an awful lot in so many countries and have experienced racism on so many levels. You have to expect it and not let it bother you unless you are finding yourself under threat. It's especially to be expected where you are the odd one out racially but even in countries of the same race you find language and culture are no less grounds for discrimination.

In Asia in so many places it's quite common to hear the locals refer to us as "round-eyes" which I find kind of bemusing although it's certainly not a term of endearment. The most interesting experience was when I was travelling Africa with a black English friend. At one point he was thinking that he was looking at the culture of his ancestors but we got a bit of a shock when we realised that the word they used for him in their own language was "white" too simply because of the culture he lived in.

blacks frequently snivel like this to make excuses for their inherent inferiority. fact is is that 30% of them are in jail and they still commit the majority of violent crime,Whites are 300 times more likely to be victimized than a black by a white.
