how long is it ok to wear a pair of socks for example a day 2 days or what? In my opinion if they pass the sniff test after a days works then your ok to wear em for another day.

a day maybe and its a big maybe its OK to wear them for 2 days if your staying in doors and lounging around the house

1 day max. After that, socks should be in the washing machine. Socks are generally cheap and inexpensive, so it's fine if they wear out from all the washing since you can just buy new ones. A good brand is Donna Karen. Last very long after many washes.

I think it's a personal opinion. I wear mine for one day and just change them out when I take a shower and change the rest of my undergarments. If I am sick and just lounging around the house, sometimes that shower doesn't come and I wear them for longer than a day. It won't hurt you to wear them longer than a day. Your shoes may end up smelling faster, but I can't think of any other reason not to do it. If that is your preference, don't feel bad about it. Just don't go bragging about it. lol If they don't smell, nobody will know...right? Just make sure that your socks stay dry. The sweat will breed bacteria and that's where you have something to worry about. Foot fungus...toenail fungus....

I only wear socks when I am going out or I am expecting company. I mean, my house is clean enough. I just leave my exposed toes out. I mean, nobodys home, but your family so ...ya. If I do for some reason wear socks, it only for a day, plus I have like 10 pairs of socks.

Now if you are talking about thick wool Wigwam socks, I would NOT wash them everyday. It will get loose, and start getting holes. I would say 3 days maximum on these type of socks.
Now for regular socks 1 day, and then wash.

If you wear a pair of socks more then one day, the germs inside the sock and cause skin f ngus such as tinea.

Honestly, one day is long enough.
But if you cant help it and your socks are CLEAN meaning not covering in filth then no more then 3 days.
