Lust = Sexual Feelings, Desiring sexual pleasure
What are you thinking about when you think of that person? Sex or more.

Love = Deep emotions, you admire them for the person that they are, the things that they do outside of the bedroom. When love steps in there is know question about it. Love goes a long way...

Lust on the other hand is temporary.

This is really an easy question. And the older you get, the easier it is to separate. Love - takes time. You have to get way beyond the physical features, the slim body, tight butt, firm breasts, and all the physical attractions that women USE to set men up! Now, take time to know her. What does she like? What is her favorite color? Does she have a crooked pinky toe? Snore? Can she cook? Does she meet all the other qualifications that are important to you? Do you like her mother in spite of her hatred of you? Yes, these are just some simple questions, but I'm telling you - lust will have you in bed with somebody before you can blink an eye - just get drunk enough - and in the morning, you will not remember how you got there. My test? Would I take him home to meet my family? Would he make a good, stable father, and husband? Does he love the Lord? If I can't get 'yes' to some of these, if not all of these, then I know it's lust. Love ages. :Love has love handles, love gets gray hair, love wrinkles and forgets to let the dog out, love may have to buy adult diapers, love goes to the doctor and holds hands with love waiting for the report; love has long memories; love puts up with the multitude of sins, love is strong and doesn't walk away just because love argues. Love is tender and kind and tries to remember your birthday, anniversary and all your grandchildren's names. Love looks at pictures from the past and smiles and says "you still look as good as you did then". Love doesn't get mad when dinner is burned. Love doesn't walk away when love looses a leg to diabetes. Love washes the sleep from loves' eyes when love can't wash it himself. Love is everlasting and I hope love does not become a thing of the past. We need love.

lust is usually just sex, love is deep in the heart, soul and mind
love comes with passion, lust just desires

What happens when you're not being physical?
If its lust there's nothing left.
If its love then you feel like nothing lost.

Lust is nature's way of wanting to propagate the species. It is unbridled passion, strong desire. Love takes much longer and involves trust, companionship relating in a healthy way, caring, and it's a two way street.

Lust is when you want someone because you find them sexually attractive. You have no desire to be with them forever.
Love is when you can't stand to be away from that someone because your heart aches for them to be back with you even if only for a few extra moments.
This is my opinion obviously. Hope it helps.

in my opinion, the fact that you're even asking and therefore can't tell the difference means it's lust.
