i'm looking for an airline ticket from indianapolis to boston, one-way, the cheapest i can find. the cheapest i have found so far is $225 but i'm looking more around $150. are there any sites where i can get a cheaper one? please help!

Prices are generally determined by the vendors.

In this case that means the airlines are holding all the cards.

I know that through the Gulliver's World Travel Data Service there is a link that offers a meet or beat policy on price from Indianapolis to Boston.

I don't think there are any flights cheaper than that, especially since the airlines know that there is a playoff game there. I've included two sites I use regularly when looking for airfare.

I'll presume you went to priceline.com and bid $150? Remember. though, they use a "window of time" so you might not get the exact time you want.

I don't know what day you are going, but I just did a search on www.kayak.com and found several airlines with $120 and up for one way...try them.

they tend to be cheaper than those big names.

and if you mouse over the VACATIONS tab, there is something called LAST MINUTE WEEKEND ESCAPES you can click on.

You might want to try that.
