The original meaning of virtue is power from an inner source.

As in the virtue that went out of Jesus and healed various people. Virtue now has the meaning of a good quality, like kindness.

Character is the principles by which a man lives his life, whether for good or evil. It is why if we call a man a Hitler,
or a woman a Mother Theresa, we almost all call the same images and thoughts about tht person to mind.
