how long do they last? i use the vaseline brand. the results are okay. not great. but how long will they last. i also go swimming. will that make it come off sooner? if they come off, will my skin turn orange?

Self-tanning lotion generally lasts for 5-7 days depending on how much and how often you apply it. Also if you apply it consecutively for a week after awhile from showering, it gets a little uneven. So exfoliate and wait a couple of days, then reapply.
Swimming does make it wear off sooner but it shouldn't make your skin orange.

It depends on what type of self tanner you are using. Victorias secret has a line called bare bronze, they have bronzers that are instant and you see results in 2-3 hrs and the color lasts for about a week. they also have other bronzers which are tints those you see immediately and wash off when u shower. it all depends on what type you choose.

I like Endless Summer, no orange effects. However, I feel like self tanners do not stay long, especially if you put it on your legs, and then you shave your legs everyday, it will quickly disappear unless you keep reapplying the product. Your skin will go back to its original color once it fades.

Each brand varies and it depends on how fast your skin sheds. Using body scrubs and exfoliants remove the color faster and they look patchy as they wear off.

It just depends on how fair your skin is to begin with.Oh,and you should try a better brand like coppertone cuz it works better and it stays on longer.

Use Jergens Natural Glow. It always seems to last the longest and I've tried them all.

they only last for alittle while, swimming and showering will make them fade, all it is , is a stain

about a week, but you can use an exfoliator, or scrube to put on your body to get it off.
