Who is Inuyasha?

i know it is supposed to be a tv show, but this is the first time ive heard of it and would like to know what Inuyasha is exactly.

Inuyasha ia a half- demon who was killed by the love of his life (Kikyo). 50 years later,a girl named Kagome fell into a well near her home and went back in time 50 years back.She found Inuyasha in a tree and he had an arrow in his body.When she saw him, she was surprised becaause he had weird ears. He woke up because he smellt the scent of the girl Kikyo but he didnt know that Kikyo was actually dead.When everyone saw Kagome,they all remembered of Kikyo because she looked exactly like her.Now Kagome and Inuyahsa go on a journey to search and collect pieces of a shard called 'The Shikon Jewel' 'The Jewel of Four Souls'it can make half-demons turn into full demons and all that.In short it can do anything.On their journey,they'll meet new people and new demons to kill but the one they truly want to kill is a powerful demon called Naraku.He's the most powerful demon of all.There you go thats practically everything oh yea on their journey,they will meet Miroku who is a womanizer and also he is a monk who wants to kill naraku and remove the horrible curse that naraku put on mirokus father.he is also collecting the shikon shards). also they will meet (Sango a demon slayer who will help them in everything).

inu-yasha is a half demon wolf character in the anime/manga "inu-yasha". i highly recommend u watch the anime! its reaaaaaaaallly good! i mean if not then at least the manga because it keeps going where the anime stops!

ah if u like the fighting cursing romantic and slightly perved type anime then this is it!!!

i'm going to keep it simple inuyasha is and half demon (dog) and he wants to become hole demon with a shine jewel. but kagome had to be stupid and break it. so know inuyasha, kagome, miroku (perv), songo(demon slayer), shippo (tiny fox demon), and last but not least kirara(songos demon cat). but there is a demon named naraku (sp?) who wants the jewel for himself. (he's the bad guy) and then there is kikyo and priest who was killed by naraku, but heres the twist naraku changed his form to look like inuyasha. then naraku changes forms again to look like kikyo and betrays inuyasha. so now they hate each other.(inuyasha actually love kikyo and kagome but he doesn't to addmit it to kagome) ohh and inuyasha swore to kill naraku. but his brother gets in the way alot. (sashomaru) his brother is a hole demon (different mothers) ohh and sashomaru save a little girl (rin) and she now follows him around and she see's him as a father. and thats the low down on inuyasha the show. there are also 4 moveis.
