Pressure. They can't even go somewhere without ending up on the cover of a magazine. They want to look their best, and the world insists skinny is the best. People don't want to see curvy/healthy people in magazines. Which really is a shame, because people like Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan were so pretty when they were actually healthy.

Because celebrities get paid for being thin and Americans are paid nothing for being thin or fat so they think "What the hell, I might as well eat since theres nothing to gain or lose"

because of the celebrity obsession. America is just trying to get the celebrities to feel better about themselves so they get fat, that way they are reassured that they look better than the rest of America.

Oh, my gosh. Girl, you're tripping. I'm serious, anorexia is deadly! Please don't talk like that, not all Americans are overweight. They're controlling it and trying. Not all celebs are skinny too.
