Nomar will not be playing the outfield at all. Gonzalez is in left, Pierre is in center, and Ethier is in right with Kemp backing him.
Nomar will be at first base. If he can stay in the lineup he will be fine. His numbers will be as good if not marginally better.
He just has to avoid those little nagging injuries that have plagued him his entire career.

If Nomar stays healthy, then he'll have an all star year. He's a great player.
Nomar will end up playing first base. Loney will be a back up player for him. I don't see Nomar being moved to the outfield. If he is moved I think it would be to third base because he's already played there before. I don't think there's any way they would put him in the outfield. However I have heard that they might consider moving Loney to the outfield just to keep him in the lineup. I would prefer to see Loney on first and Nomar on third if they decided to switch positions around.

Staying healthy is not the only consideration. The Dodgers are still not sure what position he will play in the upcoming season, or whether he will be platooning at both first and third. This state of defensive flux is partly due to the fact the LA has not signed a big bat yet this off-season. Will they keep Loney, and platoon him with Nomar at first? Will Betemit be at third base, will LaRoche get the third-base job, or will Garciaparra move across the diamond to take over third base and open up first for Loney? Or will Nomar swap positions with second baseman Jeff Kent? They have to find the right combination of defense and offense that gives them the best chance to win. All these are questions that must be ironed out in Spring Training and early in the season, and all can affect Nomar's production offensively, and concentration defensively. Fortunately, Nomar is healthy now, and is talented enough that he has that much utility that he can play anwhere in the infield. Here's hoping that Grady will make the right choice and Nomar returns to form. Go BLUE!!!

Nomar will be at 1st base this year. If he stays of the DL look for a nice average and decent to solid rbi production.

Nomar has always been a injury-prone player, but I agree, if hecan stay healthy, which he hasn't accomplished, he can have a great year. But, for an All-Star year, he'll have to compete with Pujols and Lee.

Nomar can't hit a home run, never could. He's used up and he will bring you down justt like he did to my Red Sox.

He is a key to the Dodgers prospects for 2007, so they are hoping that he stays healthy. He made a nice transition to first base and to the Dodgers. He just will not have any big bats around him that I can see.

For the Dodgers sake if he is healthy all year I think they make the playoffs. I don't think he will have an all star year but he should be respectible.
