I'm an idiot. I needed to move a lot of pics to a new folder, like 70 pics, ao I put them all on the destop. That was dumb. How can I get them OFF of the desktop? When I put them somewere they just go there AND stay on the desktop!!! Please help!!

What you have to do is make a folder
then go to desktop copy and paste those pictures into the folder
then go back to the desktop and you can now delete all the pictures there
they will stay in the folder

What happens is the pictures are copied to the new folder. Check the folder to make sure your pictures are there and then delete the ones on your desktop (move them to the trash or command+Delete).
I think there is a way to change the settings to change this method though.

After you drag each picture to the folder you want them to be in, then drag each picture on the desk top to the trash bin.

Open the thing, and just save them to where ever you wanted too.
