I should've gotten my period by now, instead I just have real light bleeding, what I think is called spotting. Some other symptoms of mine are: nausea, stomache cramping, foot cramping, fatigue, headaches, frequent urination, some breast swelling that comes and goes, among others. I took a test that came out negative a few days ago. And there's of course the factor of unprotected sex a couple of weeks ago. I've been doing lots of research that tells me these are all symptoms of pregnancy, but I'm hoping for some first-hand experience from someone. Also, other symptoms I should watch out for.

Every woman has different symptoms.

Your best bet is to go and see your doctor.

You actually LOSE weight before you gain any or bloat, or hurt, or swell up anywhere.

Morning, Day or Evening sickness.

You may also have what is called "breakthrough bleeding" during any term of pregnancy. This is spotting blood, or blood tinged mucus or discharge, and is not harmful.

That is about it if you are testing in very early term, except that if you experience one or more of these you should go to your local Health Dept. and get a free test honey.

OR if you want a BETTER test, go to the store andy purchase one of those that lets you know you are pregnant even up to two weeks after you have become pregnant. They have this test all over TV now, and I've heard it's AWESOME!!!

My experience: Retired oporation room nurse with two sons I had natural birth.

Sounds to me like you might just be pregnant. 2 weeks is a bit early for a urine test to pick up the HGC (what the test reacts to) in your urine. Everyone is different with what symtoms they have. Unforturnately there is no magic wand (god do you wish there were?) to tell ou whether or not you are pregnant. Spotting means nothing. Alot of women spot (light bleeding) throughout their entire pregnancy or just in some parts of it. You were looking for someone with experience in the matter so I'll throw in my credintials for you, lol, I currently have 3 little girls and the 4th is under construction.

Take another test. It may have been too early before. A few days can make a difference. But you shouldn't be spotting.

Take a test, if it's still neg., call your Dr. to find out why you haven't gotten your period yet
