You must stop scratching your scrotum . This is most likely to be self inflicting specially when you have nothing else to do.
Go see a doctor if it persists.

I think you need to see a doctor to find out. It would help if you would describe the nature of the wound. Is it chafing, blisters, or what? Might be an STD. Good luck!
