If you want to learn Italian, I suggest (sorry) to learn standard Italian first. You will have plenty of time to learn slang, which is limited in use and regions. However, if this is what you want to know, I will share one: slang/standard Bisi - piselli (Peas in English) or leave off ending while speaking: Ragazz(a,o) - girl/boy Son andat - sono andat(o,a,i) - I/they went Again, why? Posh? Do you want to sound "uneducated?" The use of slang and dialects can be very appropriate as well as very confusing and inappropriate. Either way, I wish you luck.

Hi, I'm glad 'cause you like Italian language! Well..I'm Italian.. I've understood that you wanna learn something in Italian language, only slang! In Italian language, for example, guys and girls say the phrase: "Sei un figo" when they see a guy well dressed, often good-looking, a guy who takes care of his hair, often vain, a guy who(in their opinion, often not right), always does something right. "Sfigato", instead, is the opposite! (This is the same thing for a girl) Italians say the word: "truzzo", when they means a guy who likes and listen to house music. (same thing for a girl, but the feminine is "truzza")--> only a bit disparaging, but not offensive. (guys and girls say this word when they're talking about a guy who doesn't listen their same music and so, they don't like house music, if they say that!) Speaking about music, Italians call a guy "metallaro", when they wanna mean a guy who likes and listen to metal and hard rock. (sometimes this guy dresses with lots of knobs and chains)-> (guys and girls say this word when they're talking about a guy who doesn't listen their same music and so, they don't like metal and hard-rock, if they say that!) The feminine word is "metallara". (the words I've written to you are only from young people and for young people and this is real slang, these words are not written on Italian vocabulary) There are lots of phrases I know, but now I don't remember... However, you can e-mail me, if you wanna know slangs of Italian language =)
