Don't do it. A girlfriend shouldn't be asking you for money. If she breaks up with you for not lending these things to her then she was using you.

Perhaps this is your first experience having her ask you something like this. Sometimes, it takes a while for people and their true colors to surface. All you had to do was consider her situation. Do you have plenty and she has little? Does she struggle to make ends meet? Is she working? Does she save? Have you ever discussed your ideas and values about money and lending? Sometimes, these are things you need to settle early in a relationship. She should not have been angered by your decision to 'wait'. You had every right - it's your money and your computer. You are in charge of both. I won't say she is using you, but I will say this is a sign. People tend to overlook the signs. The fact that you are asking the community for their thoughts already lets me know that you have an idea of what's going on and just need some confirmation. Pace yourself. I'm not saying give up the relationship - but I would surely be keeping my eyes and ears open for the next opportunity. This is definitely a warning.

She wants a "FIX". Thats a slang term for drugs or alcohol.
Boyfriends and girlfriends dont do that sort of thing.
Watch out ok. Tell her NO and have a friend stay over with you to witness what her reaction is going to be. Darn addicts.... they are all the same and try the same tricks.

She's going to drive 2 hours to see you, maybe she needs the money to buy gas! If you don't want to give her the money then you should be the one driving to her. Now she is really upset because she doesn't have the money to see you.

Well I think if she came to see you, you could share the expense of gas etc....what do you mean borrow your pc? Like take it with her or use it when she is there? If she wants to use it there that should be fine with you. Talk to her and tell her how you feel, if you have been together a year that should be easy.

damn dude, sounds like she is just using you and needing your money to pay for gas and your computer to get a hold of a friend she met in the same town so they can hook up. I say you need to have a 1 on 1 talk with her and explain it to her straight up
